Meghan Leon began her writing journey as a child, journaling and creating short stories in grade school. She spent time narrating the everyday, sharing real-life occurrences in order to transcend an individual experience into something more widely identifiable and relatable; taking real life and turning it into narrative prose. Meghan attended Saint Mary’s College of California, receiving a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in 2011. She has since been working alongside her husband, Nathan Leon, at their independent production company, Visionary Film Productions to write, produce and finance their films. Currently, she and Nathan are developing Grace By Night, a faith-based movie about self-sacrifice set in the world of Alabama High School wrestling. Grace By Night is set to film in Birmingham early 2022 starring Antonio Sabato Jr., Shari Rigby, and Cameron Arnett among others. Meghan believes producing films is not one large endeavor but rather a result of many small efforts fueled by determination, hope, and most of all, a strong conviction in one's God-given vocation. When she’s not working on a movie set or crunching numbers at the production office, she’s chasing around her three children, James (5), Marion (3) and Ava (4 months).
