Julia Davis and Mikaylah Dugans

Julia is an award-winning content creator and animal advocate from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Montevallo followed by a Master’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alabama. Following graduation, she moved to Birmingham for a job in higher education before discovering her passion for animal advocacy. After her full-time job was eliminated in December 2022, she took it as a sign to give full-time content creation a try. The unexpected change has allowed her to dedicate all of her time to raising funds for non-profits, fostering animals, and finding ways to bring people together for the good of people and animals alike. In 2023, she published her first children’s book Chickens Don’t Go Meow! || Las gallinas no hacen miau!, a bilingual book based on the true story of how an abandoned cat brought hundreds of thousands of people together on TikTok.
